There is more investment capital available for start-ups than there are fundable startups to invest in. The key word is “fundable.” That means there is more than a 50 percent chance the startup business will meet its business plan milestones. Today’s sophisticated investors don’t invest in ideas, technology, business plans, hype or new paradigms. They do invest in a solution to a well-defined business problem that will generate revenue when executed by a highly motivated team possessing an “unfair advantage.”
